Frustrations

To those few family amd friends who have stopped by this blog site,I say thank you.

Please forgive me because I find this to be on a web link that no one reads and has it’s difficulties in getting to it and working with it.

Which means, quite simply that I think the whole thing stinks,

However, I thought I try again because it has been it has been a bad week and it’s a chance to vent.

This week a learned that a dear christian man who has worked with me has learned that his stomach cancer has came back with a vengeance and it’s a matter of weeks or days before he goes home to be with the Lord.

Presently, God has had his hands on him and he has no pain but has been very sick in other ways. Praise God that there is no pain. I am on standby to do the funeral service and will take about 8 to get there, more if the weather is bad.

It’s difficult not to be with those you love and care for and be so far away.

The other things that really frustrate me is UNGRATEFUL PEOPLE”, their the ones that I have worked to help for 38 Christmas’. People who call and do nothing but COMPLAIN!

Hello, people its free and all it takes for you is the time to sign up for it and the time to pick it  up. Gee how hard is that!  We have tons of paperwork and reports to content with, fundraising and finding enough people to help buy the gift, pack and distribute the gifts. Not too mention the fundraising component. Belive me that’ not the whole list.

We received so many calls from people saying I didn’t get what I ask for on my “Wish List. Hello! It is a Wish List.

A reality check is needed. Everyone doesn’t have stock in Fort Knox.

My other frustration of the week involves false information that was limited in context, that was given to the media. Which made the other person come out smelling like a rose, as if this was the first time this  particular thing has happened before. Grrr! The nerve.

By the way, that didn’t happen here but in the netherland from where I came.

Then there has been multiple issues w/seasonal help, volunteers and staff. Oh, Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!

However, I feel better now! I’ve vented! God is good and He’s got it all together.

But I miss my sons, my daugher and my 2 precious grandchildren, Caeden and my girl Mo!

It never ceases to amaze me that year after year we help millions of people across the country, and yet there are always though who feel ‘entitled’. It’s typically the ‘chronic’ ones!! Can you say…get a job!! Anyway, I understand your frustration. After 38 years you deserve a medal!!!!
I will be praying for your friend and for you! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year!
Oh, and by the way, you have a pretty terrific son! (yes, he told me to say that!) :o )
    Blessings!

Hey! Glad you are back up and running and put something on this site. I am always checking it but didn’t know it updated. Sorry to hear about your friend, I hope they continue not to be in a lot of pain.

I miss you guys so much! I am glad I can see what is happening in your life through your blog. It’s a neat way of feeling like we are close even though we are so many miles away (in distance not in thought).

Only 3 days left till Christmas… I know you guys are happy. I know I will probably speak to you on Christmas but if I don’t talk to you before then I hope you guys have a great Holiday and rest up after Christmas (ie. Kettles) is over!!

    Love and miss you dearly!
